PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT

As a scholar of political violence and conflict operating at the intersection of academia and practice, I believe that rigorous academic inquiry should be at the heart of policy, ultimately contributing to the security and well being of societies. Through my experiences in academic, military, and governmental environments, I have consistently sought to translate complex research on terrorism, insurgency, and irregular warfare into actionable insights that can be leveraged by practitioners, policymakers, and the public. My appearances and engagements are meant to make sure that these insights are accessible and, ultimately, contributing to a safer, more just, world.
